Mrs. Eunice Howell Melvin, 91, of Fayetteville passed away Monday June 1, 2015 in Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital.

A funeral service will be held Friday June 5, 2015 at 1 PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter; Anne Bloom of Baltimore, MD; 2 sons, Arthur Melvin, Jr of Raleigh, NC and Steven Melvin of Fayetteville; 2 sisters, Rebecca Brock of Chester, VA and Sue Thomas of Clayton, NC; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by 2 sisters, Gladys Latta and Agnes Colville.
