Evelyn Christine Horne, 93 of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gaston Horne, son Carl Keith Horne, parents, Austin & Mattie Crumpler, two sisters, Estelle and Willa, two brothers, Royce and Doug. Christine was a lifetime member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loving mother who also adored her grandchildren.

Christine is survived by three children, Elaine Mountford and husband Dick, Kenneth Horne and wife Brenda, Sharon Horne Fulcher and husband Louis, Jr and daughter-in-law Cathy Ray Horne, four siblings, Millard Crumpler of Raleigh, Wilma Williams of Smithfield, J.A. Crumpler of Fayetteville and JoAnn Stamps of Sanford, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Kelly Bullard Officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
