Faye A. McDaniel, 81, passed away January 13, 2023 surrounded by her children after a brief battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, H. Harvey and Callie M. Autry, her beloved husband of 48 years, Leroy, and her sisters, Elinor A. Averitt and Grace A. Naylor.

Remaining to cherish her memory, is her daughter, Patricia Arlene Fix and husband, David and her son, Chris McDaniel and wife Teresa, sister, Barbara Hollaway, as well as her granddaughter, Miranda Moore and husband ,Christopher, and great granddaughters, Scarlett and Lillian.

Faye was a true servant of Christ and a truly giving person.  She has been a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Stedman and served in several roles mostly working with the youth. She retired from Bank of America after 40 years in banking serving the needs of others with her colleagues who she considered family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Magnolia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 3-6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that remembrances be made to one of the following: The American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cape Fear Valley Hospice Care.
