Mrs. Flora Mae Naylor Warren Williams, 89, of Clayton, NC, and formerly of Fayetteville, NC, died Monday, January 1, 2024, at UNC Rex Health Care, Raleigh, NC.

Flora was born January 7, 1934, in Sampson County, NC, to the late Pascal Naylor and Alice Marie Thornton Naylor.  She was an Administrative Assistant for Methodist University, Fayetteville, NC. One of the great loves of our parents, Flora and Kernice, was music. Our God gave our family the gift of music, yet it was our parents that instilled in us the importance of music in the home as well as participating in church choir. Even today, both sons (Richard and Ron) are active in their own church worship, playing in the orchestra and praise band, as well as a long career playing 70 & 80's music with long time friends, keeping alive the spirit of music in our family. Her greatest love was for her family, and she cherished each time they gathered together to enjoy the holidays and birthdays. Flora was a great cook, and she spoiled her children growing up with some of the best southern cooking you could hope for.

Flora was preceded in death by her first husband, Kernice C. Warren and her brother, Thomas Naylor.

Flora is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Williams; sons, Richard K. Warren (and wife Janet) and Ronald R. Warren (and wife Carrie); brother, Larry O. Naylor (and wife Gale); two grandchildren (Holly and Joshua); and four great-grandchildren (Emily, Sarah, Elliana, and Reese).

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 12:40 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
