Mrs. Flora Cornelia "Neill" Bullock Wilkins, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center after a short illness. Mrs. Wilkins was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Faith Bible Sunday school class and a member of the senior choir. She was a graduate of Campbell University and East Carolina University. She was a former school teacher with the Fayetteville city school system. Mrs. Wilkins was also a member of the Cape Fear Botanical Garden and The Lafayette Society. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, in First Baptist Church with Dr. A. Edward Beddingfield Jr. and the Rev. Bradley Smith officiating. Entombment will be in Cross Creek Cemetery, Bullock Mausoleum. A visitation will take place from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church Memorial Lounge. Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Wilkins Jr., MD; her parents, Buckner "Buck" G. Bullock and Maggie Downing Bullock; and sisters, Mary B. Goodrich, Evelyn B. Bullard, Lois B. Hall and Blanche B. Wyatt. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews; 11 grandnieces and grandnephews; and eight great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
