Floyd Person Jenkins passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours on June 9, 2016. He was 76 years old.

Floyd owned Custom Residential Design in Fayetteville for over 45 years. He helped shape Fayetteville as we know it today with his talent and creative home designs. He love his East Carolina Pirates and rarely ever missed a football game. He was a member of the Fayetteville Exchange Club. The annual Oyster Roast and BBQ drive were two of his favorite projects.

Floyd loved a good party and was known to throw many and attend all. He loved It'z and Bubba's, but the annual JAETTAD Christmas party was the most special to him.

Floyd was preceded in death by his Father Floyd, Sr and Mother Emma Mae Jenkins. Floyd is survived by his daughter, Temesia S. Jenkins High, his grandson Chase Nolan, and his son Brady Albert Jenkins.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" for Floyd at Chris's Open Hearth Steakhouse on July 21, 2016 from 5-8pm.
