Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Frances Jones Baxley, 76, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Rogers officiating, burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Mrs. Baxley was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and was retired from the Cumberland County School System. Mrs. Baxley was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Baxley; parents, Sam and Angie Jones; brothers, Charles Jones and J.C. Jones; sister, Betty Jernigan. She is survived by her son, Randy Baxley and wife Rena' ; daughter, Rhonda Butler and husband William; sister, Ann Murray and husband William all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Crystal, Deanna, April, Jenna, Katelyn, Corey and Trey; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Aiden and Isabel; dear friends, Ramona Averitt and Mae Turner and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December, 16, 2013 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
