Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Frances Chatham King, 88, born April 25, 1922, entered Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin O. Chatham and the wife of Odell King, also deceased. She is survived by two brothers, J.B. Chatham of Angier and Henry A. Chatham of Asheville. Surviving children are son, Marshall O. King of Greensboro, and daughters, Dianne Wilcox Arrowood of Winston-Salem and Betty King Donovan of Tucson, Ariz. Grandchildren are Kevin King, Kimberly Rosander, Benjamin Wilcox, Celeste Wilcox, Stephanie Kennybrook and Liam Donovan, and great-grandchildren are Kaylee King, Kamden King, Kara Rosander, Kelly Rosander, Alex Rosander, Cody Wilcox, Brittany Wilcox, Tylor Coppedge, Hunter Wilcox and Anna Bella Wilcox; and a great-great-grandson, Aiden Richardson. She lived a Christian life and did harm to not one soul. Gardening was her greatest pleasure. She was loved by all. She was employed by Fleishman's Tiny Town from 1957 until her retirement. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
