Fayetteville: Mrs. Frances J. Nichols, 88, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012 at the Woodlawn Assisted Living facility. Mrs. Nichols is preceded in death by her husband James H. Nichols. She was an avid lover and participant of ballroom dancing. Frances Nichols is survived by her daughters; Tammy S. Nichols, Nancy Dann and husband Charles, Virginia Ryan and husband Allen; sister; Phoebe Jordon, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grand children, beloved friends; Kay Lewis, Leanna Johnson, Betty Alapati, caregivers; Betty Wells, Mary Harold, Cathy Fadel, and Pam Bingham. The funeral service for Mrs. Frances J. Nichols will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00pm, at the Christ United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Billy Olsen Officiating. The Family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home and one hour before service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the church. The burial will follow the service at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church Choir; 3101 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28303.
