Frances B. Spann ASHEBORO - A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in Cross Creek Cemetery for Frances Bennett Spann. Associate Minister David Best of First Baptist Church will officiate A memorial service was held Dec. 23, 2009, at Pugh Funeral Home chapel in Asheboro, with Dr. John S. Rogers of First Baptist Church officiating. A native of Fayetteville, Mrs. Spann was born Feb. 5, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Mittie Gertrude Graham and Knox Livingston Bennett. She passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael F. Spann; her sister, Grace Bennett Raynor, and brother, Vance Livingston Bennett, both of Fayetteville. Arrangements will be handled by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
