FAYETTEVILLE Frances "Frankie" Walker Swerdon, 92 of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Frances was born December 8, 1925 in Durham County, NC to the late Zeb and Ola Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Swerdon; son, Winston "Sam" Tillotson; brother, Zeb Walker, Jr.

Frankie was a longtime member of Eutaw United Church of Christ where she served as a deacon and involved with the women's fellowship groups. She was also a member of the Roadrunner's Senior Group , Heart Warmers and Tasters Delight.

Memorial services will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday. Inurnment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St.

Frances is survived by a daughter, Susan Swerdon Seagroves (James); daughter-in-law, Kay Myers Tillotson; sister-in-law, Sandra Hicks; grandchildren, Hope McMullen(Luke), Stephen Tillotson, Jamie Lynn Stewart(Johnny) and 7 great-grandchildren.
