Retired US Army Master Sergeant Frank H. Erben, 93, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

Frank was retired from the US Army after more than 22 years of service, including the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.

Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helga; his daughter, Silvia Gibson of Hope Mills; his son, Frank Erben and wife Vickie of Fayetteville; and 4 grandchildren, Christina Erben Comer, Caitlyn Erben, Derrick Gibson, and Kristy Gibson.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
