Mr. Franklin R. "Frank" Julian, 81, of Sanford, formerly of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, in his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 3 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Dr. Tryon Lancaster presiding. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 pm.

Frank worked for First Citizens Bank for 35 years before retirement. He also served in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, I.B. and Clara Julian; and a sister, Sarah Spears.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia J. Julian; daughter, Donna J. Reich and husband Glenn of Fayetteville; son, James 'Jamie' Julian of Raleigh; 2 grandchildren, Christy Williamson and husband John of Stedman and Jonathan Reich and wife Courtney of Virginia; two brothers, William Julian and wife Catherine and Jimmy Julian and wife Gladys, all of Fayetteville; two sisters, Jane Maxey of Winston-Salem and Sandra Jones and husband Robert of Rocky Mount; and brother-in-law, Sonny Spears of Fayetteville.
