EASTOVER - Fulton Ray Culbreth, 69, of Eastover, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in his home. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was also a retired residential and commercial painting contractor. Memorial services will be held Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at 2p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will be private. The family receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at the funeral home. Mr. Culbreth is survived by his wife, Mary C. Culbreth of the home; son, Fulton Ray Culbreth Jr. and wife Linda Kay of Parkton; stepson, Roger Nelson Ison Jr. of Eastover; brothers, James Donnie Culbreth of Waldorf, Md., Dougald Geddie Culbreth and wife Pansy of Eastover and Kenneth A. Culbreth and wife Donna of Eastover; sister, Jennie McLaurin and husband Tim of Eastover; and five grandchildren, Benjamin Ray Culbreth, Tyler Culbreth, Jacob Culbreth, Talia Culbreth and Arianna Culbreth; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Cape Fear Valley Home Health Hospice, 3418 Village Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304; or to a charity of your choice.
