Mr. Gary Thomas Horne, Sr., 74, died Friday, January 20, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

Gary loved watching and playing golf; watching his grandkids play and compete in sports; eating and spending time with his friends; and going to Myrtle Beach to dance and listen to shag music. He was affiliated with Snyder Memorial Baptist Church, Highland Country Club, and the Fayetteville Area Shag Club. Gary was also a member of the Fayetteville Area Hall of Fame.

Gary is survived by his wife, Alyce Guy Horne; daughters Kim Molnar (Karl) and Stephanie Barefoot (Ronnie); son Gary Horne, Jr. (Karen); sister Faye Horne; and brother Runt Horne; 8 grandchildren, Guy Molnar, Miller Molnar, Davis Molnar, Bella Barefoot, Thomas Horne, Charlie Horne, Nate Horne, and Savannah Barefoot.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church at 1PM, burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
