Mrs. Gayle Wilson Rogers, 91, a resident of Highland House Nursing Home went to be with the Lord April 16, 2011. She was born July 1, 1919 in Cameron, N.C. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Rogers, Sr & daughters Ann Rogers & Mary Alice Rogers. She leaves behind two sons, John C. Rogers, Jr & wife, Peggy of Parkton & Owen Calvin Rogers & wife Linda of Fayetteville, 4 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Today, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 12 noon to 1pm in Hillside Baptist Church, followed by a celebration of her life at 1pm in the church conducted by Pastor Phil Lloyd. The burial will take place at 3pm in Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford, NC. The family will receive friends other times at the home of Owen Calvin & Linda Rogers, 2518 Lone Pine Dr, Fayetteville, NC. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hillside Baptist Church Building Fund, 3807 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
