FAYETTEVILLE - George Brent Ashley, 66, of Fayetteville, formerly of Durham, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, in his home. Mr. Ashley was a production superintendent for Tri-Therm Inc. in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Carl Rehrer officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Ashley is survived by his wife, Linda Jacobs Ashley of the home; sons, Jeff Ashley and wife Tracey of Texas, and Glen House and wife Amber of Hope Mills; daughters, Angie Servantes and husband Ruben of Fayetteville; and Trina Ashley and Carin Loeser, both of Texas; a sister, Joan Apple and husband Ricky of Durham; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
