George H. Brown, 74, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, December 28, 2006, peacefully in his home. Mr. Brown was the owner/operator of Wheeler Alignment & Brake Service for 55 years. Funeral services will take place at 3 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in Jernigan Warren Chapel with the Rev. Mick Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. A visitation will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean Wheeler Brown, of the home; sons, George H. Brown Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Fayetteville, Joseph F. Brown and his wife, Cheryle, of Knightdale, and Anthony W. Brown of Fayetteville; brother, Ed Brown of Fayetteville; sister, Della Sue Grainger of Pamplico, SC; grandchildren, Timothy Nicholas Brown, Morgann Brown Loposay and her husband, Jarrod and Lauren Cara Brown, Bonnie Caroline Brown, and Kristen Walters; and a great-grandson, Nathan Myles Brown.
