STEDMAN - George E. McCarroll, 83, of Stedman, died Thursday, July 27, 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel.

George was retired from the US Army after 20 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karolina McCarroll; children, Nancy and Rex Davidson, Terry McCarroll, John and Marie McCarroll, Georgia and Paul Holt, Patricia and Jerry Peckels, Kathy and Dusti Rose, and Dolores and Max Lohr; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
