Mr. George William Wilson, 69, of Fayetteville, NC, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Carolina Rehab Center of Cumberland.

George was born May 4, 1954, in Fayetteville, NC, to the late James Clarence Wilson and Elizabeth White Wilson. He was a contractor for a flooring company. George grew up in the Massey Hill community. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and a friend to so many. He will be missed.

George is survived by his sister, Mary Wilson Strickland; his brother, Robert Stephen Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
