Lt. Commander Retired U.S. Navy Gerald Lloyd Robinson, 75 of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in College Lakes Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Medlin, officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Lambert Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Siler City, N.C. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents Butch Robinson and Dorothy Clark Beason and a sister, Norma Way. He is survived by his wife Denese P. Robinson of the home, children Jerre'l C. Robinson of the home, Jodey J.C. Robinson of Fayetteville, Barcardi P. Robinson of Fayetteville, Michael J. Robinson of Portland, Oregon, Christy Robinson of United Kingdom, Deborah Robinson-Weddle and husband Scott of Fayetteville, Jerald W. Robinson and wife Katie of Portland, Oregon, brother Jack Robinson and wife Marie four grandsons Benjamin Robinson, Ben Weddle, Nicholas Weddle and wife Megan, Chris Weddle.
