SFC Gilbert Edward Vaughn, 66, of Fayetteville, died Friday, May 26, 2017.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Chaplain Archie Barringer officiating. Surviving are his wife, Karen Arnold Vaughn; son, David E. Vaughn; daughters, Pamela Vaughn and Amy Broman; grandchildren, Nijae Christopher Vaughn, Hamilton Martel Vaughn, Beautiful Asia Blackman, Allerie Blackman, Joekjha Thomas, Joseph Thomas, and Camille Aizlyn Tillman.
