Mrs. Gladys Louise Blackburn, 85, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Edward Blackburn; two daughters, Connie Johnson, husband Ray of Godwin and Beverly Pierce, husband Jerry of Fayetteville; and one granddaughter, Valerie Peele, husband Eric of Godwin

She is predeceased by two great-grandchildren, Harper McClenny Peele and Mason Warren Peele.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Village Baptist Church at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 P.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
