Gladys McLamb Wilkerson, 90, died Saturday, October 30, 2021, at her residence.

Ms. Wilkerson was born on October 16, 1931, in Bladen County NC, to the late George Franklin McLamb and Mary Etta Wadell McLamb.  She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 6248 Cliffdale Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Graddy L. Wilkerson; three sisters:  Annie Ruth Little, Mary Britt, and Ellneta Parnell and one brother:  Robert McLamb.

Ms. Wilkerson is survived by her daughter:  Deborah Drewis Wilkerson (Butch) of Gibsonville; three granddaughters:  Sarah Shipman (Gary) of Hope Mills, Heather Tran (Minh) of Burlington, and Hannah Moore (T.J.) of Mebane; five great-granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Joyce Elmore.
