FAYETTEVILLE- Glenda Fay Krings, 81 of Fayetteville passed away on Good Friday, March 25, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Glenda was born October 23, 1934 in Pierce County, Wisconsin to the late Bernice Arlene Rice and Lyle Henry Catura.

She was a faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church where she served on the altar rosary society and the Legion of Mary. Glenda was the Ft.Bragg chaplain hostess from 1977-1996.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nolton "Joe" Krings.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Stephen Shott, officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.

Mrs. Krings is survived by her daughters, Eileen Krings Rettig of the home; Melissa Krings Pajunen and husband Bill of Davenport, Iowa; Mary Krings Wells of Fayetteville; sons, Kevin Krings and wife Carolyn of Knoxville, Tn.; Dennis Krings and wife Terri of Madison, Alabama; Timothy Krings and wife Carla of Cary; Peter Krings and wife Marsha of Fayetteville; sister, Judy Finn of Plum City, Wisconsin; brother, David Catura of Plum City, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Katherine, Nicholas, Johnathon, Meagan, Joshua, Connor, Catelyn, Caleb, Jewel, Hannah, Christopher, and Elizabeth.
