Mrs. Faith Gloria Philps, 71, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord on September 13, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10 am in Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Raeford Road. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Gloria served as the Guardian Ad Litem Program Supervisor with the NC Courts in Cumberland County for 23 years. She was the longest serving supervisor in the state.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Philps; and her brother, Jack Schulenberg.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Scott and her husband Robert of St. Pauls, NC; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Philps, James Scott and Victoria Scott;

Family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the D.A.V. or Special Olympics.
