Grace Marie Dees Gabriele, 72 of Fayetteville, passed away on July 10, 2013. Grace was born October 25, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. Dees & Louise Pope Dees. She was a former resident of Suffolk, VA for 35 years. She was a graduate of 71st High School ,Class of 1959 and also graduated from Worth Business College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. Before retiring Grace worked with First Citizens Bank on Fort Bragg in the Accounting Department. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 12pm to 1pm in Praise Fellowship Church with the funeral service following at 1pm with Rev. Kenneth Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with Rev. Richard Wilt officiating. Grace is survived by her husband of 47 years, Greg, her daughter, Michelle Gabriele Harrell of Norfolk, VA, her brother, Donnie Dees & wife Jean of Fayetteville and 2 grandchildren, Benjamin O'malley and Ethan Harrell. 2 nephews, Michael Dees and Brandon Dees, She is also survived by, her sister in Christ and Best Friend Margaret Gregory and her husband,Billy along with their son's Sean, Barry, and Scott Gregory,and God Daughter Crystal Mitchell who is the daughter of Steven and Pam Mitchell. The family will be gathering at the home of Donnie & Jean Dees, 1925 Sloan Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28312. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans or to the March of Dimes.
