Mr. Harold David McLamb of Wade, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Mr. McLamb, son of Wilburn and Gertie (Parker) McLamb, was born on May 25, 1944 in Sampson County. In 1962, he graduated from Midway High School. On December 15, 1968, he married Gwendolyn Joyce Hare. Together, they went on to have four children: Thomas McLamb, Warren McLamb, Brent McLamb, and Rebecca Anderson. He was a proud member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.
Throughout his life, Harold loved and valued all of his family. He is survived by his wife, his children: Thomas and partner Lori, Warren and wife Cynthia, Brent and wife Heather, and Rebecca and husband Elijah; his brother Bobby Mclamb, and his 11 grandchildren: Alex, Shelby, Clayton, Wade, Parker, Hannah, Maryn, Molly, Jacob, Logan, and Josie. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Wade, Carlton, Jarvis, Arvalee, Edna, and Elgie.
Harold's life was full of faithfulness and loyalty to his family. 2nd Timothy 4:7 : " I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
A funeral service will be held at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will follow the funeral service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
