Mr. Harold Eugene Schmidt, 87, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Northwood Temple. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Surviving are his daughter, Karla Wilson; stepdaughter, Connie O'Quinn; stepson, Glenn Maxwell; brothers, Cecil Schmidt and Mouse Schmidt; sisters, Esther Magnuson and Virginia Anweer; 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
