FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Hazel F. Hutson, of Fayetteville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, in Village Green Care Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hutson was born Sept. 4, 1920, in Phoenix City, Ala. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Quincy A. Hutson; a brother; two sisters; and a grandson. Mrs. Hutson worked alongside her husband for many years in the family business, Hutson Typewriter Co. She was also very active in the American Business Women's Association. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, in Haymount United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Woody Wells officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Dec. 10, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Hutson is survived by two sons, Jack Hutson of Fayetteville and Alvin Hutson of Rocky Mount; two daughters, Janice Guyer of San Antonio and Jane Miller of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
