Mrs. Hazel Joy Sekerak, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, September 27, 2009, at 4 o'clock p.m. in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Father Michael Shugrue presiding. She is survived by her husband, George M. Sekerak; son, Cliff Maloy; daughter, Debra Taylor; step-son, Joe Sekerak; two step-daughters, Sonia Hawle and Theresa Schrump; sister, Belinda Richardson; two brothers, Roy Dalton May, Jr. and John Ronnie May; 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday evening, September 24, at the funeral home.
