Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Heather Marie Williams to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday January 5, 2025.

Heather grew up in Fayetteville and attended Cape Fear High School, where she enjoyed playing softball and spending time with friends. Known for her beautiful green eyes, contagious laugh, and radiant smile, Heather brought joy to those around her. She loved kids and would always do her best to make them laugh or cheer them up. Heather loved to take pictures, fish with her dad, go thrift shopping with her mom, to the beach with family and was always looking for the next dog to rescue.

Throughout her life, Heather faced many trials and tribulations but remained steadfast in her faith. She loved Jesus deeply and was never hesitant to raise her hands in worship, praising Him through both triumphs and challenges. Her unwavering devotion to God was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Nearly a decade ago, Heather experienced the heartbreaking loss of her brother Joseph Williams. This loss left a lasting impact on her heart, but her faith provided comfort as she awaited the day they would be reunited. We take solace in knowing that Heather and Joseph are now together again, walking the Streets of Gold in Heaven.

Heather is survived by her loving parents, Paul and Theresa Williams; her brother David Williams; and her sisters Mary Williams, Beth Cottocenteno and Brooke Strickland. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother Joseph Williams.

A celebration of Heather's life will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Dominion Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Heather's love for God, family, and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace as we celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
