Rev. Helen Johnson Elliott (86) departed this life on 3/17/11 at the home of her son, There will be a visitation at her home in Fayetteville, NC on Sunday from 1-4pm. Funeral services will be held at Jernigan & Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville on Monday at 11am. Pastor Helen Hysell will be officiating. Burial will be at 3pm in Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro. She was born in Goldsboro, NC in 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Elliott, Jr., parents Rooney Turbeville and Henry Johnson, sister, Lois and brothers, Ralph and Lonnie. Surviving are her children, Dixie Tysinger, Randy and Bob Elliott, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. After the death of her husband in 1979, she attended Peniel Bible College in Plano, Texas and studied under Sister Fushia Pickett. She was ordained through Christian International and she ministered prophetically throughout the eastern United States. Her ministry spanned over 30 years. Rivers of Faith Church was her home church.
