Helen Barrett Guy, 83 of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday November 26, 2009 in Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover. She was a retired legal secretary with the Williford, Person & Canady law firm. She was a lifetime member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. A member of Hope Mills Sunshine Center and the Victory Club.She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie Page and Harrison Barrett, husband Paul Guy, two sons, Stephen Guy & Thomas Lee Guy, and two brothers, Russell Barrett and Don Barrett. The family will receive friends on Monday November 30, 2009 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, the funeral will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel, burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She is survived by her two brothers, Vance Barrett and wife Mary of Fayetteville and Archie Barrett and wife Mary Ann of Fayetteville.
