Helen Phillips McCorquodale, 87 of Eastover passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.

Helen was born February 7, 1932 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Irene Mitchell and Leslie Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her son, Chuck McCorquodale and a daughter, Linda McCorquodale; husband, Raymond McCorquodale; brother, Garfield Phillips and a sister, Margaret Taylor.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 12 Noon at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wade, NC with Rev. Michael Lambert, officiating. The family will receive family and friends following the service at the cemetery on Wednesday.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Kay Owens-Wicker and husband Johnny of Godwin and Wanda Phillips Culbreth of Niceville, Florida; sister, Linda Faye Phillips Reaves of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Whitney Culbreth, Michael Ryan Culbreth, Jimmie Owens, Jr. and wife Melissa, and James Raymond Owens and wife Roseline; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Abigail, and Amanda.
