Helen C. Smith FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Helen C. Smith, 81, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Lee O'Briant officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was a member of Village Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Smith. Survivors include two sons, Paul C. Smith and fiancee Donna of Fayetteville and David F. Smith and wife Katrina of Fayetteville; a daughter, Diane S. Williams of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Patrick L. Williams and wife Lisa, Joel M. Williams, Stacy M. Smith and Kayla J. Smith; and great-grandchildren, Margaret C. Williams and Carter L. Williams.
