Retired Army Sgt First Class Henry Corvera, 76, of Fayetteville, Passed away Thursday April 15, 2010 in his home. He was a Army Veteran of the Korean & Vietnam wars where he received numerous awards, served in the Army for 20 years. He retired from civil service. A graveside service will be held Wednesday April 21, 2010, at 12noon in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors with Chaplain Roy Hill Officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. He is survived by his wife Takako T. Corvera of the home, 3 brothers, Angelo, Richard, and Gilbert Corvera and a sister, Helene Barton all of Los Angeles, California.
