FAYETTEVILLE - Henry N. Goins, 85, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, in his home. Mr. Goins was a lifelong farmer in Cumberland County. He was also an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sarah Goins of the home; daughters, Carol Starnes and husband Emmett Starnes Jr. of Fayetteville, and Sandra \\"Kaye\\" Daughtry and husband Tommy Daughtry Sr. of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Johnson of Fayetteville; sister, Neal Brewington of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Kim Scott, Emmett \\"Bucky\\" Starnes III, SarahMarie \\"Ree\\" Daughtry and Tommy \\"T.J.\\" Daughtry Jr. and wife Anna Warren Daughtry; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel \\"Nate\\" Scott and AbbiKate Daughtry; and a host of friends, family and relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Goins will be conducted at 2 p.m Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Cape Fear Baptist Church with the Revs. Bruce Swett, Bobby Locklear and Jerry Groves officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Monday, June 22, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
