Rev. Herman A. Soderberg, 83 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 in his home.

Services will be held at a later date.

He was a loving husband. Rev. Soderberg was a retired Methodist minister from Northern New Jersey, North Carolina and the New Jersey conferences. He was a Navy veteran where he served as an electronic engineer. He was a member of Who's Who in the World in 2009 and Who's Who in America for 2008 and 2009. Rev. Soderberg earned a Bachelor of Science in Math from Wagner College and a Master of Divinity from Drew University. He was working on his doctorate in ministry. He taught math, religion, creative writing, philosophy on the college level in New Jersey. He taught philosophy, New and Old testament at Methodist University and Ft. Bragg. He taught Old and New Testament at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Audrey Soderberg of the home; best friend, Charles Drawdy of Tryon and many other friends.
