Hilda Katherine Bell McLaurin Gray, 96, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday December 19, 2020 at her residence.

She was born September 6, 1924 in Cumberland County to the late Flossie Jones Bell and Walter C. Bell. Hilda was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Rodney McLaurin.

Hilda was a devoted and active member of Lebanon Baptist Church. During her time at Lebanon, she enjoyed being a part of the Golden Club with her fellow church members. She loved to crochet and enjoyed traveling to visit with friends. Most of all, she cherished the memories made with her beloved children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia M. Roop and Anita G. Parham and husband Wayne; her sons Paul D. McLaurin and Walter E. McLaurin and wife Lora; her daughter-in-law Judi McLaurin; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday December 23 at 12PM at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Campbell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Lebanon Baptist Church at 3329 Beard Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28312.
