Hilda Autry McGill, 81, 0f Eastover, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her residence.

Hilda enjoyed baking, shopping, helping others and spending time at the beach. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Salem Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 til 2 pm at the Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie McGill; son, Ray McGill; parents, Clarence and Maude Autry; brothers, Albert Autry and Leonard Autry; sister, Rachel Byrum

Surviving are her son, Timothy Archie McGill and wife Linda of Eastover; sisters, Norma Stackley and Nina Bhe of Eastover; brother Freddie and wife, Virginia, of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Joanne Bunce of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Amber Lane; step-granddaughter, Marie Parker; great grandchildren, Austin and Nate Lane, D.J. Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem UMC, 2165 Middle Rd. Eastover, N.C. 28312 or the American Cancer Society.
