Hilda Ivey Phillips, 84 of Fayetteville passed away Friday, August 2, 2019.

Hilda was born August 6, 1934 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Hesba Faircloth and Leon Waycliff Ivey. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Wendell Holmes Phillips and grandsons, Philip Simmons and Paul Cheshire.

Hilda was a member of Village Baptist Church where she was a member of the Faithful Worker's Sunday School Class.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5,  2019 at 2:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Nick Smith, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2:00 pm on Monday. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St.

She is survived by her son, Keith Phillips and wife Sharon of Fayetteville; daughter, Sharon Cheshire of Fayetteville; sister, Geraldine Ivey Crumpler of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Elizabeth Page Phillips and Meredith Gray Phillips.
