CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Hilda Reeves Sibbett, 77, of Charlotte, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 pm in Victory United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Reeves presiding. The burial will follow at Gilmont Cemetery in Hope Mills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Sibbett.

Hilda is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Sibbett Mace and husband Anthony of Charlotte and Jennifer Sibbett Kappas and husband Jimmy of Indian Trail; 3 grandchildren, George, Johnathan, and Madeline; 3 sisters, Sara Foy, Shirley Coleman and Linda Berckman, all of Fayetteville; and brother, Larry Reeves of Fayetteville;

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 2 to 3 on Sunday at the church.
