Retired Army Specialist Class 2 Hollis Dale Petersen, 56, of Fayetteville, died October 2, 2009. Funeral services will be held graveside Friday, October 9, 2009, at 10 am in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. He is survived by his brother, Howard Petersen and his wife, Brenda, of Jonesborough, TN; sister, Linda Ann Mason and his husband, Johnny, of Ponce De Leon, FL; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 am Friday morning at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.
