Mrs. Iona Johnson Barbour, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007, in Highland House of Fayetteville. Mrs. Barbour was a member of Fayetteville Advent Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Lees Chapel Christian Church cemetery in Four Oaks. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Barbour was preceded in death by her husband, Palmon Barbour; son, William Robert Barbour; sisters, Vinnie Powell and Vida Adams; and brothers, George Johnson, J.R. Johnson and Waylon G. Johnson. She is survived by her grandson, J.R. Barbour of Hope Mills; sisters, Inez Barefoot of Four Oaks, Edna Gaskin of Titusville, Fla., and Levay Coats of Kenly; brothers, Orville W. Johnson of Lawrenceville, Va., Walton C. Johnson of Matthews, R.W. Johnson of San Antonio and Noah M. Johnson of Panama City, Fla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
