Ms. Irene V. Ireland, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Irene was a longtime mortgage banker with Curtis E. Martin Inc.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 1 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 and Thursday prior to the service from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Donna Kim Reeves of Fayetteville; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Morales, Jeremy Ireland, Brian Ireland, Ethan Ireland and Michael Edwards; and 3 great-grandchildren, C.J. Morales, Peyton Morales and Jaxson Morales.

She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn D. Ireland, Jr.
