Irma Geiger Wallace, 79 of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She Retired from Civil Service at Fort Bragg after 30 yrs of service. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Wallace in 1970. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 29, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 1:30pm in St. Matthews United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kong Knamkung officiating. The burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Lawrence Wallace of the home; a daughter, Brenda Cumpston & husband George of Pittsboro, NC; and brother & sister in Germany.
