Mr. Jackie Donald Altman, 68, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a member of Lee's Chapel in Dunn and retired from Fay Block Materials & Concrete Service Co. in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville by the Rev. Gary Strickland. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramesy St. Jackie is survived by his wife, Esma of the home; mother, Vera Altman of Falcon; two daughters, Audrey Doiron of Fayetteville and Carrol Marks of Raleigh; two sons, Donald Altman of Dunn and Richard Davis of Graham; a sister, Aneita Smith of Dunn; a brother, Billy Altman of Dunn; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Services entrusted the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
