James F. Colletti "The Sarge" died Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Mr. Colletti was a retired U. S. Marine Veteran and a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the 8th & I Marines in Washington DC, He also worked as a forman with Merita Bread Co. in Fayetteville, Retired from the State of North Carolina Teachers and State Employees and was a member of Lafayette Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Lafayette Baptist Church with burial following in Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. He is survived by his special friend, Marie Sinclair; daughters, Yvonne Monroe and Debra Davidson; sons, James F. Colletti II and Joseph Colletti; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Bedard, Anita Daunis, Roberta Dores Jacovidis and Fay Marie Saucier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph Colletti, Sr. and Leola Mae Colletti; sisters, Joanne Curtis Chicopee, Dorothy Madalyn Stone, Gloriia Ann Linebergers,; brother, Francis Joseph Colletti

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
