James "Jim" Paul Eury, 81, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at The Greens in Pinehurst.

Jim was born on November 30, 1940, in Concord, N.C. to the late Paul Homer Eury and Dora Bell Eury.  He retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years of service and from Civil Service at Ft. Bragg after 25 years.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Jim is survived by his wife Gabriele Brigitte Eury; daughters, Angela C. Culp, Shelia A. Weidner and husband John, Lisa Manning and husband Doug; sons, Timothy P. Eury and James "Jay" Eury; sisters, Jean Safrit and husband Eddie, Shirley Barbee and husband Fred, and Dorothy Morgan; grandchildren, Jason Culp, Matthew Culp, Christy Ammons and husband Billy, Brandon Weidner and Kyle Weidner; great grandchildren, Rebecca Ammons and Ryder Ammons.
